Celebration of Polish Classical Music at St. Anne’s Cathedral
Benny Crawford & Son Pianos were proud to hire the Yamaha 5’8 Grand Piano for the Polish Cultural Week which was returning to Belfast for the third time in May 2009 as a part of the ‘Polska!Year’ with a range of events to share Polish culture, arts, heritage and language in venues across the city. During this year’s edition of the Week, to mark the 160th anniversary of the death of Poland’s most famous composer, Fryderyk Chopin, St. Anne’s Cathedral resounded with Polish classical music performed by the renowned Varsovia Piano Trio.

Exam Hire Testimonial U1 & U3 Yamaha’s.
If you need to hire a piano, then I can fully recommend NI Pianos. I recently found myself in the position of having to organise piano hire on behalf of the Associate Board of the Royal School of Music to facilitate exams carried out twice yearly. When I first had to do this, a friend who had previously purchased from NI Pianos, recommended the company and suggested I contact Robert. Was I glad that I did? Given that I don’t know the first thing about pianos, it was such a relief to speak to someone who knew exactly what my requirements would be and who organised everything from delivery, tuning through to collection – and all at a price which was very acceptable to those concerned. Nothing was a problem and Robert was most helpful in facilitating me regarding times that fitted in with my arrangements.
Only last week, I had to hire again and received the same level of service throughout. The pianos hired have been of exceptional quality and appearance, and whilst I myself wouldn’t know a washboard from a Steinway, I am quoting the remarks of music examiners who travel throughout the world to different testing centres.
So, if you’re looking for piano hire and require a professional and courteous service together with competitive pricing, then I suggest you look no further than NI Pianos.
Benny Crawford & Son Piano’s were delighted to sponsors the Holywood Music Festival:
“Holywood Music Festival is now one of the leading music events each year in the Belfast area. It attracts around 1500 entrants and provides a wonderful opportunity for young people mainly to meet and to participate in a music competition. It attracts people from all parts of the community and after a long period when it was dormant it now is a fixture on the music calendar. Virtually all instruments are represented and there is also a strong vocal section
The one thing most classes have in common is the need for a piano to accompany the performer or especially the piano classes themselves. The festival does not have the money to hire a piano for the 10 days of the festival and without a piano there would be no festival!
We are therefore very much indebted to Robert Crawford for his wonderful support by allowing us to have the use of a grand piano and an upright piano absolutely free. This generosity gives us the boost we need to keep the success going.”
